Are you accepting new clients?
Yes — I am currently accepting new clients for both individual and couples therapy in Edmonton.
If the area you’re seeking support for is not listed on my Services page, you are still welcome to reach out. I’m happy to discuss whether we may be a good fit or I can provide some trusted referrals within the community.
How do I book a session?
You are welcome to self-book through the Jane booking portal using the “Book Appointment” button found throughout the website.
You can also contact me directly if you have questions before booking. I’m happy to help create your file and discuss availability.
Is your office wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the nature of the older building, my office is only accessible by staircase and is not wheelchair accessible. It may also be difficult to access for individuals with limited mobility.
I sincerely apologize for this limitation. If you would still like to work together, I would be happy to offer virtual sessions as an alternative.
What should we expect during our first couples therapy session?
The first couples therapy session focuses on understanding your relationship history, current challenges, and the patterns that may be contributing to disconnection or conflict.
Together, we will begin identifying: communication dynamics, areas of hurt or misunderstanding, strengths within the relationship, goals for therapy, and other important areas.
After the initial session, there are typically two options in moving forward:
- continue meeting together as a couple
- or complete one individual session with each partner before returning to joint sessions
This process can help me better understand each person’s background, attachment history, and relational experiences. I aim to remain flexible and collaborative in determining what feels most supportive for your relationship!
What if my partner doesn’t attend our couples session?
If one partner is unable or unwilling to attend, we can discuss together whether it makes sense to:
- reschedule the session
- continue individually
- or explore alternative options
Every relationship and situation is different, and we can decide collaboratively what feels most appropriate moving forward.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes — I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for individuals and couples in wanting to explore whether therapy with me feels like the right fit.
This can be a space to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, ask questions, and learn more about my approach.
What Is Your Availability?
Tuesday’s from 10am-3pm and Thursday’s from 12-7p

What should I expect during my first individual therapy session?
Our first session is primarily focused on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy.
We may explore: current concerns, relevant life history, relationship patterns, goals for therapy and more
I also ask assessment-based questions, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative for you.
